Meet the Mercers
A few weeks ago, I began the character development on an entire family. Gosh. I've never had so many main characters in my life, but I knew that it was necessary for the story that I was preparing to narrate. Well, I won't hold you long. Let's get down to business.
On September 08, I will be unleashing the first episode of Urban Tales, which consists of the Mercers line up and introduction to the series. They're such special people that I had to take to the blog to help you all understand why before you dived into the book.
Nieem (Kni-eem) is the oldest of the five, with Navee being his twin. He's the protector of the family, seeing that all of their troubles be laid on his shoulders. Nieem made a very heroic decision at the young age of sixteen that has left a strain on he and his most precious jewels -the women in his world.
Navee (Navy | Na-vee) is the second to oldest, and Nieem's twin. He happens to provide for the family, and is in charge of their dealings. Navee reigns in their household, and keeps everyone in good spirits and on the right path. Navee hugs the block by day and gets his lesson by night. He's a catch, and every female in Southside wants a special piece of him. Their desperation runs dry shortly after he is enchanted by a chocolate temptress that makes his dick stand and his heart throb.
Nylam (Kni-lam) is caught in between his two younger and older siblings. Nylam's ambition brings solace to his family -with him being the only child to clip his wings and head off to college. In the first installment, he treads the waters of his senior year with outstanding honors. Nylam hasn't visited Southside since the day he left, and only has one reason to return... her name is Laitleigh.
Lodie (Low-dee). This one is a character. Second to youngest, but the youngest of the four brothers, Lodie has the best of both worlds. He's as smart as a whip, but the lure of the streets seem more appealing than anything else at the moment. Navee is taken on a rollercoaster as he attempts to keep him on track and out of the courtrooms.
Laitleigh (Late-lee) is the youngest of them all, and is trying her best to break free from their choke hold. However, she exudes tact and class in her mission to do so. Very respectful and well-mannered, the nineteen year old yearns to know what benefits Southside has in store for her. She's every bit of fierce, and will run circles around the average. Her search for love lands her on the devil's doorstep, or at least her brother's seem to think so.
So, there you have it. The gang is all here. Urban Tales will be available on a Kindle near you in just a few short days.
